BDSM is a variety of erotic practices or role-playing involving Bondage, Dominance and Submission, Masochism, and other interpersonal dynamics. Is interpreted as a combination of the abbreviations B/D (Bondage and Discipline), D/s (Dominance and submission), and S/M (Sadism and Masochism). BDSM is now used as a catch-all phrase covering a wide range of activities, forms of interpersonal relationships, and distinct subcultures. BDSM communities generally welcome anyone with a non-normative streak who identifies with the community; this may include cross-dressers, body modification enthusiasts, animal role players, rubber fetishists, and others.

Research suggests that about 26% of people who suffer from sexual disorders are related to pain or dominance and submission. The population with related fantasies is believed to be even larger. There is certainly some belief that has turned into a habit among the patients of BDSM. Our sessions figure out the clients personal belief system is, what ways this is causing them difficulty and how this may be attracting repetitive patterns of previous experience.

  • Developing open, authentic relating so that any disturbing behaviour is no longer needed as a strategy for coping.
  • Discovering and then mastering the methods for building and maintaining a healthy, happy, progressive and successful future.
