TERMS OF BUSINESS (“Terms”)

1. OUR AGREEMENT
1.1 These Terms supplement the agreement made between us when you book a Programme, Session or Meeting (“Program”).
1.2 The agreement is between you and us. You may not share or transfer Programme access or Materials with anyone else.
2. EXPECTATIONS
2.1 Programme Description and objectives appear online. They are general statements. We may change content, Location, or delivery method without breaching our agreement.
2.2 The Programme involves attendance at the specified Location and may be supplemented with online participation, preparation, or follow‑ups.
2.3 The Programme is designed to help you achieve your goals. If you do not participate fully, you will not meet the learning objectives.
2.4 The Programme is for informational purposes only and is not intended to provide medical, legal, commercial, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
2.5 Our Group, Program and Session Rules exist to protect all Participants.
2.6 Breach of these Terms or the Group Rules may result in suspension or termination of your participation without compensation, substitution, or prejudice to our other remedies.
3. YOUR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 If paying as an individual, you may have statutory consumer/cancellation rights. Otherwise, only the rights described in the Programme Description apply.
3.2 You are responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and for your decisions, actions, and results.
3.3 You agree to use good judgment and seek qualified advice before taking action based on the Programme.
3.4 You must ensure you have adequate computer equipment, broadband/wi‑fi, time, and virus protection to access online elements.
3.5 You are responsible for keeping your login details and downloads secure.
3.6 You must not interfere with our websites or platforms or access unauthorised areas.
3.7 You must not promote goods or services to other Participants unless expressly invited.
3.8 You should arrange travel and accommodation unless the Description states otherwise.
4. BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND RESILIENCE
4.1 We may substitute lead providers where necessary.
4.2 We may use associates/substitutes to deliver parts of the Programme.
4.3 We may change the Location, learning platform, server, or delivery method at our discretion.
5. TIMING AND STANDARD OF PROVISION OF SERVICES
5.1 The Programme runs on the dates specified in the Description.
5.2 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any session.
5.3 You may not send a substitute without written permission. Non-attendance results in forfeiture of the session.
5.4 We will be available for the time specified but cannot guarantee extension of sessions.
6. PAYMENTS
6.1 Programme fees must be paid before the Programme starts. No access will be granted until payment is received (unless instalments apply).
6.2 Accessing any Material constitutes start of the Programme and full payment becomes due.
6.3 Late instalments may result in suspension of access.
6.4 Suspension does not cancel payment obligations.
6.5 Currency conversion is subject to your card provider’s rates.
6.6 If on a payment plan, declined payments may be retried.
6.7 We reserve the right to charge interest at 2.22% per month on overdue amounts. Payments will cover interest first.
7. COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
7.1 All IP Rights in Materials remain our property.
7.2 You may use Materials only for your personal learning. No disclosure or adaptation is allowed without written permission.
7.3 If someone uses your access without permission, you will be liable for fees and any associated costs.
7.4 You must not post third-party infringing content or make defamatory statements, bully, harass, or breach Group or Program Rules
and Guidelines. You agree to indemnify us for any losses.
7.5 We may record sessions. Inform us if you do not wish to be recorded.
7.6 Recordings belong exclusively to us. By participating, you waive moral rights and grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use recordings.
7.7 No unauthorised recording, screenshots or photography are permitted unless agreed in writing in advance.
8. POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
8.1 If you have concerns or complaints, notify us immediately.
8.2 Access needs:
- For in-person Locations, notify us in advance.
- For online events, ensure compatibility and broadband. Log in early for checks.
8.3 If refreshments are provided, inform us of any dietary requirements.
9. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
9.1 We will use your Confidential Information only to deliver the Programme or as required by law. We may retain records for administrative reasons.
10. DATA PRIVACY
10.1 We process your data in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy, available on our website.
10.2 If booking via third-party platforms, their privacy policy applies.
10.3 Data on third-party platforms is governed by their policy; ensure your privacy settings are appropriate.
11. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
11.1 We are not liable for failure due to force majeure or circumstances beyond control.
11.2 Materials are selected using our expertise. They are not bespoke advice—you must seek professional advice if needed.
11.3 We cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
11.4 No personal liability for principals, staff, agents or fellow delegates.
11.5 No liability for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profits or business.
11.6 Our total financial liability is limited to the Programme fees paid.
11.7 Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be restricted.
11.8 We do not warrant website or platform availability, defect correction, or virus-free content.
12. TERMINATION
12.1 Termination does not affect accrued rights, including confidentiality and IP obligations.
13. DEFINITIONS & INTERPRETATION
13.1 Defined terms include:
- Confidential Information (your sensitive data)
- Description, Group Rules, Location, Materials, Participant, Programme, IP Rights, Session, you, we/us
13.2 “Including” does not limit the generality of preceding terms.
13.3 No waiver of rights arises from delay or non‑enforcement.
13.4 Severability clause applies to invalid terms.
13.5 Law and jurisdiction: governed by the country/state listed on our website, with exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
14. TUITION INFORMATION (Academy for Self‑Mastery Ltd)
14.1 You agree to pay the tuition indicated for your selected subscription.
14.2 Annual Plan: Commences after initial payment, renews annually unless 30 days’ notice given.
14.3 Monthly Plan: Cancels by written notice; access ends at end of paid term.
15. TRANSFER AND UPGRADES
15.1 Subscriptions are non-transferable without written permission.
15.2 At our sole discretion, upgrade options may be offered at an additional cost.
16. DEFAULT & CANCELLATION
16.1 Non-payment may result in suspension and loss of access to the Programme.
17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
17.1 Entire agreement; no reliance on other representations.
17.2 Terms accepted by payment/access.
17.3 Dates, times, locations or structure may change.
17.4 We reserve the right to remove participants from virtual events and programs without refund.
17.5 Assignment only with our consent.
17.6 Sessions are in English; translations (if any) may incur extra fees.
17.7 You are responsible for any bank transaction fees.
17.8 All Materials are proprietary and may not be reproduced, sold, or shared without permission.
